"Very nice staff, great facilities, lots of space, good food and of course a great location!"
Seven nights with two children in a quadruple room, daily ski school (Innerarosa), eating and playing in the lodge in the evening. We had a great night's sleep, a delicious meal, spent time in the sauna, at the pool table and in the games room, hid Easter eggs in the lodge and felt very comfortable. It was a 15-minute walk to the ski school/gondola, very pleasant.

"Always happy to return"
No luxury with a butler - but a great location if you want to hit the slopes, friendly people offer pragmatic service and the price/performance ratio is 100% right. The facilities are completely ok (who wants to sit in a room?) and yes, Arosa does the rest... The food easily fills you up for a week, but then it's enough (we feel - we come more often and always enjoy it - that the quality has not improved in recent years).

"Very good value for money"
Accommodation with very good value for money. It is easily accessible by car and parking spaces can be reserved for a small extra charge. You can also ski/snowboard directly to the slopes after a few meters on foot. Ski bibs are handed out directly at the reception of the accommodation. The rooms are simple but perfectly adequate. There is a washbasin in the room, WC and shower are in the corridor. Rooms: The rooms are simple but functional. WC/shower is shared in the corridor, there is a washbasin in the room. Walkability: You can easily reach the ski slope, the Kuhbar and the village center on foot. Food & drinks: There is a breakfast buffet and it has a bar and a vending machine with drinks.

We enjoyed our week at the Mountain Lodge, just like the last few years. The staff are friendly and the buffet has something for everyone. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and the beds are very good. The lounge with WiFi and the former chapel with its table football and pinball table are also great. We also really appreciate the location and therefore the proximity to the slopes.

Basically great for a youth hostel. Bed ok. Breakfast top notch. Very friendly welcome and farewell. It was more like a basement room with a small window. Only 1 WC for one floor. The location, view, great, but the walk up and down from the village is not to be underestimated. The price is rather high for what is on offer, but ok for the period.

The room was clean and I found everything I needed. The majority of the night's rest was respected (one exception). All the staff struck me with their cheerfulness. The kitchen took into account every extra request and also inquired if we liked the food. We liked it very much and the atmosphere in the dining room was always relaxed and never loud despite the wonderful bustle of the children. My course took place at Blatters Arosa. Since I was staying at the Mountain Lodge, I had to make the trip several times a day, which was a bit of a challenge due to health problems. For the arrival and departure I would have wished for a driving service, because the way from the train station with the luggage was too steep for me. I let the cab chauffeur me, which worked out great. I chose the cheaper hotel option deliberately and I would certainly recommend the Mountain Lodge to guests who do not want more luxury and are good on foot. For families, I thought the offerings were great. Thank you for the friendliness, attention and the whole team for every service.

Nice room, good food, especially good with the salad buffet and the daily fresh fruit salad. The only negative point, there is no internet in the room. But for that there are great mountain bike trails and lots of great nature. We will come again. In winter you can enter the ski area within a few minutes directly at the slope.

The Mountain Lodge is an accommodation in the style of a youth hostel or a family hostel. Who expects a 5-star accommodation will be disappointed. We, a sports club, have not set expectations too high due to the low price and were completely satisfied. Already the arrival was very warm, we felt immediately welcome. The fact that we had to dress the beds ourselves was no problem with humor. The accommodation was ok, the food very good and the breakfast plentiful. From the train station it is a few steps up to the hotel, one is compensated with a fantastic view. The boss personally drove our luggage to and from the train station for a small fee at a desired time. If you ask, you will be helped. Conclusion: Great stay with cordial staff. Highly recommended for clubs, groups and families.

Except for the totally inedible sauerkraut from the Sunday before last, the cuisine was very varied and good. A compliment also for the rich breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there are not many hotels like this anymore: family-friendly, uncomplicated and inexpensive! It would be a great pity if hotels like this would not exist anymore, because they have a great charm and a wonderful charisma. I like to talk to people and ask them not to want to renovate properties like these. In my opinion, no investment is necessary here, the risk of irreparable destruction of cachet and flair is too great. It is yes everything available and works, less is often much more!!!

I was with my son in the Easter vacations for a few days snowboarding in Arosa, with 2-bed room incl. bathroom and half board in the Mountain Lodge. We were both completely satisfied because it had everything we needed. The breakfast did not miss anything and there was nothing to complain about at dinner for us. It's just not a star hotel, but honestly, I personally don't need that when you're on the slopes all day. What the Mountain Lodge offers is absolutely sufficient and good. Much more important is the almost perfect connection to the ski area: If there is enough snow, you can virtually strap on at the front door and go. Supermarket and village center are also within walking distance. All the staff were really nice, overall everything was also very family friendly. It was also pretty quiet, although now also guest-wise not sooo much was going on. For someone who just wants to make winter sports vacation and needs a cheap location to stay overnight, it is just right. We will definitely come back when we are in Arosa again :-)

"Experienced hospitality until the end of the season!"
Everything top. Come back with pleasure! What would still be practical: - A few coat hooks in the room, so that you do not have to hang helmet and wet ski clothes in the closet. - A small shelf by the bed on the wall, for example, to deposit the cell phone. But the only thing we really missed was a real table with chairs in a warm ambience (chapel too cold) to play in the evening. We were not allowed to use the new table or move two chairs from the hall to the lounge. With back problems it is very uncomfortable on the stools for long periods.
